LECTURES

The Fund organises occasional FORMAL AND GUEST LECTURES to stimulate interest in specific areas of textile history research.

The first lecture in this series was in 1999 at the Courtauld Institute of Art, delivered by Professor Aileen Ribeiro (Reader in the History of Art, Head of History of Dress Section, Courtauld Institute of Art) and was entitled ‘ The Fabric of Fashion’.
